Poor service, poor speed. Most of the countries on the list have no connection. Waste of time and money. Sent them a lot of tickets for support but they haven't reacted a single time. Spend your money on a good VPN server and leave this one.
I've contacted them at least 3 times and never got a response!
A VPN service should have a reliable support and this one doesn't have!
I've not been able to use their service due to being in restricted country and they never responded to any of my tickets, but if their service quality is same as their support service, I stay away!
Slickvpn is a simple and effective VPN that's light in the pocket. I paid for a VPN the first time last year; Slick lived up to the hype of being one of the fastest VPNs. I don't experience any drops in speeds. For best results, try multiple servers depending on your locations. Additionally, Slick was able to bypass the Netflix VPN filter for me.
I wouldn't shy away from recommending it. The drawback: it doesn't have a mobile app, so you got to configure OpenVPN on IOS and Android manually.
First, The SlickVPN app is junk and does not even work properly. SlickVPN has advertised to the death that it uses PPTP and L2TP on their website and in all sorts of press releases.
Second, When I actually got the service, conveniently they stopped offering PPTP and L2TP because of the security vulnerabilities.
Third, I don't need a VPN service to dictate what level of privacy I am allowed to have. Even if you care that much, PPTP and L2TP still have valid uses. You certainly would be better with PPTP or L2TP using an unsecured Wireless connection that you might be provided by a hotel or restaurant, than without these two security protocols.
Finally, you cannot use SMTP protocols with this service, and does not support VPN pass through (i.e. using another VPN on top of SlickVPN). So, if you use a mail client such as Thunderbird, you will receive emails but will NOT be able to send them. Additionally, if you connect to a work VPN for work purposes, you will NOT be able to use SlickVPN and then connect through to that work VPN.
Convenient how they're NOT advertising or in any way disclosing what they do NOT provide or what they block users from doing.
The SMTP restriction is supposedly due to uses abusing the VPN service by SPAMMING with emails. So, yeah, you get punished for something you had no hand in.
People are better off avoiding SlickVPN until they've matured and start being more flexible. I honestly can say, that so far out of all of the VPN services I have tried (about five), SlickVPN has been the worst.
I can't comment about your experience, but to call my experience inferior than yours is juvenile. Is somebody is paying you to write this? I just shared my experience and I haven't faced a single issue you have mentioned. Did you even it?
