I purchased Decodo’s residential proxy service hoping to improve my automation and access geo-restricted websites easily. However, my experience was far from smooth. The KYC process was cumbersome and took over two days for approval despite submitting all required documents promptly. Even after KYC approval, I faced continued blocking of target sites. Customer support kept asking for additional company details like tax numbers and registration IDs, which caused further delays. The compliance team required me to send multiple verification emails from my business address, prolonging the process unnecessarily. After more than a week of back-and-forth communication, I never got a clear resolution or confirmation that their proxies would work for my use case. When I requested a refund, they refused to return the amount to my card and instead credited my account wallet, which is not very practical. Overall, I found Decodo’s proxy service frustrating and time-consuming. I would recommend exploring other providers with faster onboarding and better customer support.
